Iran is regarded as one of the most civilized nations in the world due to its long history; as a result, it has the richest culture and way of life.

The Persian carpet is a brilliant and glorious manifestation of the Iranian's rich culture and superior artistic sense. The art of weaving carpets by hand starts with imagination and creativity in designing the pattern and comes alive with knotting threads to create a piece of art.

Saffron is one of Iran’s non-oil exports. Although it’s grown in only a few provinces throughout the country, it’s easy to find it in the various spice markets. Persian Saffron; the Red-Gold ingredient grows from late October to mid-November, early in the morning before the sunlight women harvest the flowers before they bloom, so the stigma (which is the actual Saffron) is out of any dust. Once the flowers picked, they start the process of separating the purple stigma from the purple crocus flower. 

Mina-kari is one of the most beautiful Persian arts that you can see the best kind of these handicrafts in Isfahan. The history of this art dates back to 5000 years ago.  

When you travel to Iran, you will understand that Iranian people make some of the best desserts out there, they flavored their desserts with saffron, rosewater, pistachio, and some more delicious flavors you will love. 

Travel to Iran, especially to the southern part of the country is not completed without enjoying the cool shadow of palm trees in the area.  

June 10th is celebrated as World Handicraft Day worldwide. The World Handicrafts Council was established by the UNESCO with 90 countries as members. The World Crafts Council (WCC), affiliated to UNESCO, was founded in 1964 which is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, established to promote fellowship and foster economic development through income-generating craft-related activities.

Every country is famous for some items, and Iran is very popular for its carpet. If you ever travel to Iran, it would be a great idea to have a visit to Carpet National Museum of Iran in Tehran.
