Arrival in Tehran

After arrival at the hotel in Tehran, we visit Sa’ad Abad palace complex and Darband mountainous area in the afternoon.

Today we go to Tehran’s grand bazaar, Golestan palace complex, Iran National museum, National Jewelry museum and finally to Glassware and Ceramic museum.

Flight to Shiraz, arrival at Shiraz, visit the Karimkhan citadel and Vakil historical complex, bazaar and mosque are on the list today. We go to Narenjestan-e Qavam garden and Nasir Al-Molk mosque afterwards. At night, we feel the mystic atmosphere in the surrounding area of tomb of Hafez.

We head to Persepolis (60 km from Shiraz) to discover ancient civilization of Persia, as well as Naqsh-e Rustam relief, and Quran Gate.

Visiting Eram Garden and tomb of Saadi, after having lunch we head to Farashband to get familiar with the lifestyle of an ethnic group in Iran, today we stay with Qashqai people.

Today we enjoying a local lunch in Farashband, then drive to Abarkouh, and visit the 4500 years old Cedar tree. Accommodation in Aghamir local cottage.

We head to Nartitee Ecolodge in Yazd province, on our way, discovering Pasargadae where tomb of the most popular King of ancient Iran, Cyrus the Great is located.

Today we leave Nartitee for Yazd. Visiting Silence Tower, Fahadan district, the Prison of Alexander and traditional Bazar in Yazd are on the list today.

Visiting city’s Jame’ mosque, Zoorkhaneh, Water Museum Then go to Dolat Abad garden visiting Iran’s loftiest wind catcher and finally Amir Chakhmaq complex.

On third day in desert city of Yazd, we leave to city’s outskirts to visit Iran’s most important Zoroastrian temple, Chak-Chak. Then return to Yazd (70 km) and visit the Fire Temple and Ab-Anbar Shesh Badgir (cistern with six wind catchers).

Leaving for Isfahan (320 km), first we visit Meibod and historical mosque of Nain on our way and then we continuing our way to Isfahan.

Today we visit Naqsh-e Jahan square (including Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah mosque, Ali Qapu and Traditional Bazaar), visiting Hasht Behesht and Chehel Sotoun palace.

On our second day in Isfahan, we visit Vank church, Menar Jonban and two of city’s historical bridges: Siose Pol and Khaju and finally Jame’ mosque of Isfahan, a stunning illustration of the evolution of mosque architecture over twelve centuries in Iran.

Heading to Kashan (450 km), on the road visit the Natanz Jame Mosque and Abyaneh village (320 km) on our way, discovering architecture and anthropology of the region. Then get back on track to Kashan.

We visit some highlights such as Fin Persian garden and some of city’s historical houses. Soltan Ahmad Bath, Agha Bozorg Mosque.

Drive to IKIA and leave Iran.
